O’ RINGS

An O-ring, also known as apacking, or atoric joint, is a mechanicalgasketthe shape of atorus; it is a loop ofelastomera roundcross-section, designed to be seated in a groove and compressed during assembly between two or more parts, creating asealat the interface.

The O-ring may be used in static applications or in dynamic applications where there is relative motion between the parts and the O-ring. Dynamic examples include rotatingpumpandhydraulic cylinder.

O-rings are one of the most common seals used in machine design because they are inexpensive, easy to make, reliable, and have simple mounting requirements. They can seal tens ofmegapascals(thousands ofpsi) of pressure.

RUBBER BUSH

A rubber bush is a type ofvibration isolator. It provides an interface between two parts, damping the energy transmitted through the bushing. A common application is invehicle suspension, where a bushing made ofrubber, Natural, Nitrile,   EPDM, Neoprene, Silicone, Viton separates the faces of two metal objects while allowing a certain amount of movement. This movement allows the suspension parts to move freely, for example, when traveling over a large bump, while minimizing transmission of noise and small vibrations through to the chassis of the vehicle.

Silent Blocks form a vital part of a suspension system. Apart from this they are also used for articulation and ball joints, steering linkages, radius arms, angle joints, yokes etc.blocks are used to absorb vertical shocks and in tandem they reduce wear and tear and also noise. The multi directional movement of the vehicle creates comprehensive and tensile stress, which are all taken by these Silent Blocks. SANDWICH MOUNT

There Sandwich mounts comprise one or more layers of elastomer bonded to flat steel plates. They are designed to with stand very high compressive loads. They are very slim large supporting surface area stackable

mounts. The suspended equipment is free to move in all directions. High ratio of axial stiffness to radial stiffness. Very high axial loads.

Anti Vibration Mounts

Anti Vibrtion Mounts  is well suited for machines requiring vibration damping in both compression and shear. An anti-skid plate is provided in the base of the mount to prevent machine walking. These mounts can also be anchored to the floor through the holes
